some manners in the ATM lobby pls

Friday was a good day for me. i was all syked up to go to Nairobi 4 two things. it was a weekend and it was the end of the month. my plans were well laid out. i fika tow, the first thing is to go the ATM, get cash and then treat my self to a nice city meal.
so i got to Nairobi and headed for the ATM. i went to the nearest lobby and it was extremely packed (kawaida ya Equity bank) so i decided to move to the next nearest lobby. getting there, the situation was worse. it was a smaller lobby that was more crowded but for some funny reason i decided to just queue there. thats when i took my time to look around. is it just me who noticed or people have the bad habit of peeping at other people's details at the ATM lobby? since the place was so crowded, the people behind and especially those in the next queue got a very good view of the ATM screen. that is such an irritating habit.
so came my turn to withdraw. at the back of my mind i knew that most probably i had more than one person watching. so i wanted to withdraw as fast as possible. the most unfortunate thing is that i did not have cash in my account so all i got was my ATM and a receipt with an error message!! can you just imagine the embarrassment???????? i had been on that queue for that long to just withdraw nothing!!! and to make matters worse, someone peeped that!!! i was so damn embarrassed. i appreciate the fact that more people are warming up towards technology by using the ATMs, but can the lobbys have more privacy please. Or maybe there should be posters reading 'MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS ' anybody feels me on this one?

Love in the Chat room, mmmmmmmmm.......

Ever met guys online who insist on wanting to know all about you and then the next thing he says he loves you? that's like totally annoying!! what makes people think that i can meet them online and believe what they say is the gospel truth?
so today i log into my skype account and from nowhere comes this man who is apparently looking for his sister Kanini. You know those days you wake up with good moods that you can stomach almost anything, i guess today was one of them. so my new found pal and i hit on the chat and i was grateful he didnt ask 'what are you wearing?' that's always the first question on chats nowadays.
i should have guessed where he was headed to when he asked how old i am(second question, OMG!!!) of course i avoided the question and the guy dare tells me that i should be more serious than that coz he is attracted to me and he loves me!!! did u hear that? tell me if iam slow but love after 10 mins of chat? as i write this, he is still insisting that he has found love on the net. apparently that's the reason why he chats. has anyone heard such loads of B*** sh** before?
Clearly people in this world need help.

My names are Rehema Winnie Muthoni Kanini (trust my parents to give me so many names) i am volunteer with Arid Lands Information Network-East Africa and based in Isinya division, Kajiado District. Blogging is a new thing to me and i am willing to learn to have it work for me. they say it's fun (you should ask who) and i am yet to see how fun it can be. but i guess it is fun for those guys with juicy details to spill to the wolrd. as for me, even if i had any juicy details, i guess they are meant for me. But............ i will try and see how far this goes.
I guess all i can say for now is just flow with me. We might all just like it. Later!!!
